In order to have driving lessons you must:

  • Be aged 17 or older (16 or over if disabled)

  • Hold a driving licence that is valid for the UK (provisional, full or an appropriate foreign licence)

  • Meet the minimum driving eye site standards*

 * - Gov.uk Driving eyesite rules

It is your responsibility to provide your instructor with proof that you have a valid licence to drive

and that you meet the eye site standards.  Your licence will be checked at the start of the first driving lesson, as well as an eye test.  If you fail to provide a valid licence, and/or you fail the eye test, your instructor is entitled to refuse to conduct the driving lesson but may still charge you for such driving lesson.

These lessons will be conducted in a mutual area using the Driving Schools' equipment, and will be subject to the cancellation policy as below.

You must give at least 48 hours’ notice to your instructor if you wish to cancel or re-arrange a booked driving/theory lesson. Failure to do so may result in your instructor charging you the full amount for that lesson.  Booking an appointment is acceptance of the policy.

Details of how to pay will be given at the time of the booking of the first lesson, and will need to be paid prior to the date/time of the booked appointment.
